Last weekend Cologne Commons took place: on friday evening netwaves went, heard and had some interviews. Listen to Zoe.LeelA, Mika, Fiat600 and Lars from Mars. it works better the more widespread it is and i only find half a dozen netaudio folks active there (1 blogger, 3 artists, 2 labels) so i asked the flattr folks for a few extra invitation codes to speed up the process to get more netaudio folks involved, and i got a dozen extra to give around. any of you guys interested in having one please give me a ping. if i’m mailing you it’s couz i think you should be there.

You may recall our October 2009 original release, “Classic Material Vol. 3: UI Radio” by Maryland hip-hop artist CM aka Creative. CM originally came to blocSonic to release that album due to the inactivity of Random Flow, the fantastic but now defunct hip-hop netlabel which released the previous volumes in the Classic Material series. CM’s situation was one of the original inspirations for our Xtended Edition series and we’re finally getting around to release his “The Classic Material Completion Package XE”. The release will contain Classic Material Volumes 1 & 2 and a bonus disc of unreleased and remixed material!

Here’s another chance for you to take part in our little label’s high-quality releases. We’re now looking for remixers for “True”, the first promotional single for “The Classic Material Completion Package XE”.
